Alba Productions
Alba Productions was founded in 2001 by RD Alba and Philip Anthony. They started line producing for ABS-CBN for the telenovela series Kapalaran.
Kapalaran ran for two years until the beginning of 2003. RD Alba was named the youngest director to direct 175 episodes of a TV Show.
In 2004, RD Alba produced Panaghoy sa Suba with Cesar Montano that went on winning awards at the Metro Manila film fest. The movie also starred Philip Anthony.
By then, Alba Productions continued producing TV Shows for the major network ABS-CBN. Alba Productions remade the hit sitcom Milyonaryong Mini in 2006.
Alba Productions also shot commercials for various companies and live events.
In 2012, Star Cinema released and distributed BIKTIMA nationwide, a film directed by RD Alba and produced by Alba Productions.
Moving Stateside, Alba Productions produced a talk show for TFC called RSVP, Alba Productions also produced shows for GMA Pinoy TV such as RSVP with Dr. Tess, The Dr. Tess Show and the reality based show “All in the Family with Dr. Tess”. They also produced and directed Lifestyle Network's show On Your Marc.
Currently, RD is directing and Phil producing Lifetime Channel’s thriller “Killer Escort”.
